Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT

I’m still alive in case some of you thought that something happened to me. :) I’ve been really busy the past few weeks with work and haven’t had a lot of free time. Back in January, I took a two-week trip up to Maryland and while I was there I visited family, went snowboarding at Wisp and went to see a Navy Hockey game.
I just purchased Canon’s new EOS Digital Rebel XT. I had been planning on getting a Digital Rebel for several months then when I discovered that Canon was going to be coming out with a newer model I decided to wait until the XT was released. I chose this model due to all of the features it offers and since my wife and I already have an EOS Rebel 2000 (35mm), we can use the EF lenses we had since they’re compatible with both cameras.
Unfortunately, it’s been raining a lot here the past few days so I haven’t had a chance to take some photos outside and really test it out. I’m going to Las Vegas on Wednesday and am planning on visiting Death Valley, Hoover Dam, and taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon so I’m sure I’ll be putting it to good use.
